The War of the Ring
One war at a time. Scheduled battles. A winner every campaign.
The state of the war
0towns
A side needs 5 of 9 towns before it may besiege the enemy capital, and only during Stage III, The Siege.
No orders yet. An initiative dice roll decides who attacks first: the winner attacks in the first war window, the other faction in the second. The rolls and declared targets will appear here once the war begins.
Signup
Pick a faction and clan. Clans name their commanders.
The Front
Contested towns only. Race for squads.
Escalation
More squads in the field. Capitals protected.
The Siege
Capitals attackable once a side holds 5 towns. The war is decided.
How the war is fought
Fighting is the game
No survival loop, no economy, no town management. Only the war.
Everyone commands
Every player is a captain with their own squad of troops at their back.
Scheduled battles
Two war windows a week, so everyone fights in the same hours.
Veteran squads
Squads earn experience for every kill and level up from battle to battle.
Campaigns end
Every campaign ends with a winner and a reset. The server never slowly dies.
Discord is the war room
All talk, orders and signups happen on Discord. This site shows the map and the campaign.

The Chronicle
Each campaign ends with a winner, a reset and a recap. Past maps, clans and every siege stay in the archive, and veterans keep a title for the war they fought in.
